Facilitators’ Development

Empowering Educators. Enriching Classrooms.

Professional Growth

At our school, we believe that empowered teachers create empowered learners. That’s why professional growth is not an event—it’s a culture. Our Facilitators’ Development programme is designed to nurture reflective, collaborative, and future-ready educators who are constantly learning, evolving, and leading.

We invest deeply in three core areas to support this mission:

PLW

🌱 1. PLW – Professional Learning Weeks

Thrice a year—in March, May, and January— we host dedicated Professional Learning Weeks (PLWs). These are immersive, purpose-driven training blocks where our facilitators pause to reflect, learn, and grow.

Each PLW is thoughtfully curated to align with academic goals and real classroom needs. They include:

  • ➤ Interactive sessions with industry experts and academic leaders
  • ➤ Training on new pedagogies, assessment practices, and student engagement
  • ➤ Workshops on self-development, emotional intelligence, and leadership
  • ➤ Peer sharing circles, reflective practice, and collaborative lesson planning

PLWs are not just trainings—they are rejuvenation weeks where educators return inspired, equipped, and reconnected to their purpose.

Ongoing Learning

🔄 2. Ongoing Learning

Learning doesn't pause between PLWs. We ensure continuous, structured development throughout the year.

  • Alternate Saturdays: Targeted in-house trainings, planning retreats, expert-led workshops
  • Daily Stay-Backs (1 Hour) after school hours create space for:
    • ➤ Collaborative planning
    • ➤ Data reflection and student progress tracking
    • ➤ Co-creation of engaging lesson plans
    • ➤ Open, coach-led support discussions

This rhythm of ongoing learning builds consistency, connection, and a shared sense of purpose across the staff community.

🤝 3. PLCs – Professional Learning Communities

Our Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) are the heartbeat of our development model. They represent a culture of peer-led growth, in-house research, and a deep commitment to shared learning. In these communities, teachers explore specific areas of interest, upskill themselves, and coach others in the same. Each PLC becomes a multiplier of growth—ensuring knowledge and expertise ripple across the school.

PLCs

Some of our active PLC focus areas include:

  • AI in Education & Technology Integration – Exploring responsible, innovative use of AI to enhance teaching
  • Microsoft Educator Training & Digital Fluency – Building 21st-century skills and tool mastery
  • Classroom Management Strategies – Nurturing proactive, positive learning environments
  • Phonics & Early Literacy Instruction – Strengthening the foundations of reading and language
  • Storytelling & Creative Pedagogy – Infusing creativity, emotion, and connection into lessons
  • Experiential and Project-Based Learning – Designing hands-on, real-world learning journeys
  • Inclusive Education & Differentiation – Adapting instruction to serve every learner's need
  • Coaching Conversations for Growth – At the heart of our school is coaching.

Every facilitator engages in regular coaching conversations—to reflect, set personal goals, and align classroom practices with deeper purpose. These conversations spark clarity, confidence, and action—within individuals and teams alike. Our PLCs are more than skill groups. They are spaces of inquiry, leadership, and transformation. Teachers conduct in-house research, share findings, and drive school-wide innovations in lesson planning, pedagogy, and student experience design.

💡 A Culture of Lifelong Learning

Facilitators here are not just educators—they are learners, leaders, researchers, and coaches. They inspire through growth as much as through teaching.

We believe that when teachers thrive, students soar. Every investment in a teacher’s growth is a gift to every child they teach.

🌸 Staff Wellbeing

Staff Wellbeing

At the heart of a thriving school is a happy, valued, and supported staff. We deeply believe that the wellbeing of our facilitators is just as important as their professional development. When educators feel heard, appreciated, and cared for—they bring their best selves into the classroom.

That’s why we prioritise staff wellbeing through meaningful, consistent practices:

Excursions & Retreats

Excursions & Retreats

Regular day trips, retreats, and nature breaks help our educators pause, unwind, and reconnect with each other in joyful ways.

Celebrations & Milestones

Celebrations & Milestones

From birthdays to festivals to achievements—we celebrate our people with heart. Every occasion becomes a moment of shared joy and belonging.

Open Door Policy

Open Door Policy

Leadership is always approachable. Whether it’s a new idea, a concern, or a personal conversation—every staff member knows their voice matters and is welcomed without hesitation.

We strive to create a culture where emotional wellness, work-life balance, and authentic relationships are honoured.
